Saturday Night Coffee CD Now Available on itunes!

The newest Kevin Kane CD, Saturday Night Coffee, is now on itunes. Here is part of the review from More Sugar Magazine...
...Another unique aspect, and one which
evokes favorable comparisons with all-time
great Fleetwood Mac, is that there are two
lead singers. Marci Schein blows the doors
off in hard-rocking “Know What You Want,”
but it’s on ballads “Waiting for the Rain”
and “Justified,” probably the two strongest
cuts on the CD, that she makes your heart
ache. Listening, I found myself thinking,
“Damn, this girl can really sing.” -Justin Osborne

Marci Singing with Kevin Kane Band

   SUN. 9/137:30 PM

The Kevin Kane Band can be considered a throwback to a simpler musical time, and definitely a simpler musical place & attitude. Born and raised in Kansas City, Kevin Kane affectionately recognizes his hayseed roots. "I started playing guitar early in life in order to avoid playing the accordion given me by my mother ...too many stories there!" Kevin's music career started to take off while a student at Yale University, playing up and down the East Coast.
Kevin is back now, with a band of uncommonly talented musicians and well-crafted songs which some have compared favorably to those of Jackson Browne and Jethro Tull ...with a little Who thrown in for good measure!
The Kevin Kane Band's 2008 release "Beneath Smooth Surfaces" has received favorable critical review, and includes a song considered to be one of the better anthems to emerge from the ongoing financial crisis.

Marci Directing the Midtown Children's Musical Theatre Festival

Marci is currently directing 3 new musicals which open July 9th at The Producers Club in NYC.

For tickets go to:

PC JR kicks off its summer festival with 3 COOL new musicals for kids of all ages.

July 9 - 20: In Swak!, A Fractured Fairytale, the Frog Prince hops off on a journey to find a Princesses' kiss to break a Witch's spell and turn him back into a Prince. Alas, the Frog Prince's kiss turns Princesses into frogs! Find out who is behind it all! SWAK has a catchy POP score.

July 23 - August 3: The True Colors of Weedle, the second festival show, is about a boy born without color in the faraway land where everyone and everything is a kaleidoscope of color. Young Weedle travels far and wide to find out how to live in an outcast's world, and meets new fantastical friends along the way. Join Weedle on his special journey. It's an inspiring story with a moving score.

August 6 - 17: More Fractured Fun! Rapunzarella White...a Dysfunctional Family Fairytale. Rapunzel, Cinderella and Snow White are triplets who get stolen away from their Queen mother by an angry witch. Each Princess is catapulted into her own fairy tale, awaiting rescue by their own personal (bumbling) Prince Charmings: Beau, Barry and Burly Bob. Will it be happy ending for all? Memorable songs, comical characters and a twisted tale.
